The images show two different projects - the first is for a character based off of an Elephant Shrew. The second set of images is for a character and a beast. I created a story of an 13 century cathedral caretaker that was in charge of keeping the gargoyles off of the church. The idea was that gargoyles are made of stone. However, at night the caretaker had to tap the jewels on the backs of the gargoyles and they come to life. Their job was to go through the city and keep the evil spirits away from the village. This is based on the actual reasoning behind gargoyles and their purpose on churches.
